Women's Ministries

Purpose

The purpose of Christian Mothers/Women's Guild is to foster religious, educational, cultural, and social interest of its members and the children of the parish.

Meetings
Christian Mothers/Women's Guild meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

This organization's members are Catholic women both married and single.

The St. Oscar Romero Ladies of Charity falls under the Ladies of Charity of the United States of America (LCUSA) and is a federation of Catholic women that continues, expands and improves the charitable and spiritual works by:

Assuring that works of charity are carried on according to the directives of our founder, Saint Vincent de Paul, and in the spirit of Saint Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton by the following Ministries:

• Praying Ministry
• Visiting Ministry
• Rosary Ministry
• Nursing Home and Shut-In Ministry

The Ladies cooperate with other community groups, especially in activities for the support of the poor, the lonely, and the deceased, for the betterment of the community.  They mirror the love of Christ to which we bear witness.
