The Prayer Ministry is open to all parishioners and is an outreach of prayer for various needs of the parish, the community, the Diocese and the World.
Through the generosity of our Prayer Ministry Members, OLMM is able to offer some life affirming pamphlets, available free of charge to the congregation. The pamphlets address sensitive, yet relative topics, as an outreach to parishioners who may find these pamphlets helpful as a first step to coming to terms with issues in their lives. The titles are:
Prayer Notes-(Prayer while waiting during a serious illness);
Care Notes- (How faith can help when bad things happen);
Care Notes - (Climbing up from Depression).
These pamphlets are available in the metal literature rack in the main entrance of the church.
There will also be a Divine Mercy Sunday Preparation booklet available. Questions may be directed to Loretta Antanovich, Prayer Ministry Chair.
As you know, the Diocese of Pittsburgh is facing a shortage of priests in the near future. How can you help? Pray. The Diocese has asked parishioners to participate in the 31 Club, created by the Diocese for an increase in priestly vocations.
Here’s how: By becoming a 31 Club member, you are promising to pray ONE rosary ONE day a month specifically for an increase of priestly vocations in the Pittsburgh Diocese.
