St. Oscar Romero Parish is a community widely diverse in musical styles and traditions yet uniquely united in singing our praise to the Living God.  While we remember the traditions of our past, we also know the importance of reaching forward to what is yet to be.  We constantly strive to blend the old with the new and incorporate various ethnic traditions and styles. There truly is something for everyone here.

• Cantors lead the gathered assembly in singing of hymns, songs and acclimations while also taking the role of Psalmist as they proclaim the responsorial psalm.
• Instrumentalists are those who play organ, piano, guitar,  drums, flute, trumpet (and the list goes on) to support the singing and Liturgical actions.
• Adult Choir are for those 18 years and older who like to sing in a group. This group sings traditional, contemporary, classical, gospel, chant, and many other styles of music.
• Children’s Choir are for grades 3 through 8.  They sing simple 2-part harmony with catchy tunes that help teach them the love of God.
• The Latino Choir provides music for the Mass in Spanish which is offered weekly for our Latino sister and brothers.
• The  Praise Band is for anyone from 9^th grade and up and they provide music once a month for our Teen Mass. This music is more contemporary and livelier.
• We are also trying to restart the Handbell Choir.  This is a group of 14 people who enhance special liturgical event such as Christmas, Easter, and Confirmation.
