We invite any man or teenager to join us on the second Sunday of each month to come join us at Mass at 8 AM. We have a short meeting after Mass to plan activities for Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Presently, we have the Fish Fry and other activities planned in the near future. Got any ideas? We want to encourage everyone to join us as we search for new ways to make our church better for you.

In 1925, the Usher Club was organized under the direction of Reverend Thomas M. Zacharski, the second Pastor of Saint Patrick Church. In 1970, under the guidance of Monsignor Paul J. Simko, the Usher Club was reorganized and named the Saint Patrick Catholic Men’s Club. With the creation of Saint Oscar Romero Parish in 2020, the club was renamed the Saint Oscar Romero Parish Catholic Men’s Club.
The purpose of the Catholic Men’s Club is to serve Saint Oscar Romero Parish, the Pastor, the Clergy, the Staff, and the Parishioners by promoting the spiritual, physical, social, and civic welfare of our community and to encourage group participation in organized educational, cultural, athletic, social, and fundraising activities. It is the duty of each member to set a good example of Christian living in their home, church, and community. Members are urged to volunteer at Parish events as well as sponsor, promote, and implement projects and to express their faith by participating for the honor and glory of God.
The Catholic Men’s Club meets on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Parish Center.
If you would like to learn more about the Catholic Men’s Club or attend a meeting, you can submit the online Men’s Club Interest Form by clicking on Interest Form or contact our Recruitment Coordinator, Ed Hornak, at 412-296-1064 or [email protected]. Application forms can be found on the bulletin boards in the vestibules of all Parish churches. Completed applications can be returned to any Men's Club member or placed in the collection basket.
